April Topic: Cocooning
Pushing yourself to the limit is of the utmost importance to get what you want, you have to work at it. You know what else is of the utmost importance? Not spreading yourself too thin and making yourself fall ill to the throes of inattentiveness to your body and overall health can be detrimental.
Spring is in full bloom, pardon the pun; and with that can come new challenges and choices to make. We all have choices to exceed and excel or gripe about what is not right with life. The overall idea is that you have to seize the moment that presents itself. If there does not seem to be any moments around, you have to create your own moments. By doing so, you can create safe spaces for you to evolve.
A butterfly is an old caterpillar, just like a caterpillar is a butterfl y who has not honed its potential yet. The stage of the transformation is often referred to as a caterpillar inside a cocoon. I’d like to call this stage cocooning because when one does so, they are completely secluded and isolated. As lonely as it sounds, success sometimes calls for sheltered proximities. It is ok to be a little selfish and focus on you, just like the soap opera there is only one life to live. Living it to the fullest is of the utmost importance.
Jam 4 the Month: Great One by Jessie Reyez
I want to be a Great One, the lyrics are pretty SELF-EXPLANATORY, HUH?
