It’s amazing to see the number of Americans following Donald Trump, saying they will vote for him and declaring they are not racist, even though Trump is a racist. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and other southern states voted for Trump while being the poorest states in the nation.
Thurgood Marshall, and thousands of other black Civil Rights leaders made Baltimore home. 150 former African American congressman have written op-ed opposing Donald Trump’s negative and racist statements about Representative Elijah Cummings, U.S. Representative for Maryland, and his district. The editorial essentially says we are here and we are not going anywhere. President Obama congratulated them for continuing the fight for equality.
We should not have to wake up every morning to racial insults from anybody much less a so–called president of the United States without fighting back. He’s called Congresswoman Maxine Waters dumb. He’s called other African American Statesmen out of their names. He’s called President Obama a Kenyan, without evidence, and told four Congresswomen of color to go back to where they came from.
Some say that these acts were not racist and those claiming they are, were being racially insensitive. I’m not sure there is a difference. Maybe in 2019 being racially insensitive is worse than racist. To use street language, I think the President just thinks he’s slick. In the past Trump was convicted of race-based policies in renting properties. Later, he wanted to lynch the so-called Central Park Five for rape. He has not apologized, even though the charges were wrong about the Central Park Five. In addition, he’s caging children at the border.
One commentator pointed out that there was no racial comeback to Nancy Pelosi, or Adam Schiff or others. Called African and Black countries not European and Norwegian countries “s-hole” countries. Why? Why not? I join with Obama in saying I’m home and I’m not going anywhere.
Getting A$AP Rocky out of Switzerland and inviting Kanya West to the White House does nothing to help Black America. We need to do what they did in Puerto Rico and get rid of the hate machine in the White House. As far as whether Donald Trump is a racist, I know one when I see one. I have a great granddaughter, and I need to answer for her. “Yes, he is a racist!” He looks like one, he acts like one, he is one. We see things happening as reminders that the racists are still with us. The group of three young white men with their rifles who took target practice on the Emmit Till Memorial in Mississippi is another reminder, and so is Trump’s statements about Cummings.
I have a theory about what’s bothering Donald. He’s jealous. First, he had to follow a black man into the White House. He had his wife stole Michele’s Obama’s First Lady speech, word for word. He tried to have the Central Park Five executed, but they got forty million dollars, instead. He spends his weekends on the golf course trying to get a tan, but he turns orange, instead. He can’t play golf as good as Tiger. He can’t sing or dance. He has little hands, hence as Stormy Daniels calls him, “Little Dickey.” He’s really gonna flip when he sees Black boys break dancing at the Olympics. In foreign policy, he followed basketballer Dennis Rodman in meeting Kim Jong Un. As far as Cummings, he’s smart and he’s a lawyer. We’re learning that Trump, among other things, is a big fat fake. I could go on and on, but I won’t.After hearing that Trump called Congressman John Lewis’ district crime infested and said that Reverend Al Sharpton hates white folks and cops, he called the NFL players “sons of bitches”, one Rick Wilson allegedly said. “Just use the N-Word and get it over with.” The word infested seems to be a word reserved for Blacks, in 45’s limited vocabulary. “Better to have a few rats than to be one”, the Baltimore Times newspaper tells Trump. I agree.
