I was raised to believe that you needed to be smart to become President of the United States. I continued to believe that, until Donald Trump came along. Donald Trump proves that anyone who can analyze his actions don’t need to be smart to be President. Donald Trump seems to me to be just plain dumb, hence the word Dummy.
By demonstrating how dumb he is, it also gives a message to our young when we say to them anyone really can become President, even those who can lie good and are willing to abandon all integrity and intelligence. I give him credit for believing he can get away with it. He did say he could stand in the middle of a New York avenue and shoot someone and get away with it.
What Trump didn’t say was that getting away with it depends on how stupid the American public can be. An example is Roy Moore, the Alabama pedophile. Roy Moore is scheduled to run for the Senate seat left open by Jeff Session’s appointment to the U.S. Senate. At least a dozen women have accused him of sexual misconduct when they were younger than the age of consent.
Trump has now endorsed Roy Moore for the U.S. Senate. The endorsement follows a week of saying that they would not seat Roy Moore for the Senate. Mitch McConnell originally said that Moore didn’t belong in the U. S. Senate. Now they merely see him as another vote. These people came from people who voted yes to slavery because it was in their economic benefit. Integrity is a lost word. I say, “Thank you Trump”, because the people with a conscious will vote for another Black or a Brown person as President to prove they are not self-righteous, or an insecure racists like Donald Trump has proven himself to be.
Trump proves it by continuing to say President Barack Obama was probably born in Kenya. He proves it by working to give Indian land to the economic interests of rich oil developers, land developers, and white people who have no interest in the needs of “The People”. He proves it by demeaning American Indians by calling Senator Elizabeth Warren, “Pocahontas”. He proves it by refusing to apologize to the “Central Park Five” for advertising and demanding that these young men be lynched for raping a woman they never raped. He proves his racism by demanding that the Black basketball players bow down to him for allegedly getting them out of a Chinese prison. And he proves it by attacking the Black football players who exercise their First Amendment right to protest by kneeling.
Now, I can tell my grandchildren and great grandchildren who are smart, that the presidency is a shoe-in for them. They can become President because they are as brilliant as Barack Obama was to get us out of an impending depression and set in motion many protections. They can see that the American public would rather have a Brilliant Black or Brown, rather than a dummy trying to turn the clock back. See 28 of Barack’s greatest accomplishments, below.
Thanks Donald for being the dummy, the fool, the idiot, and a moron, according to what your own Secretary of State called you. You prove the point that neither color, nor wealth, makes you brilliant. We all see that you can be a rich white moron. To my offspring, don’t worry about your color. Be brilliant, be smart!
