Most of the Baseball fans in this area are fans of either the Dodgers or the Giants. This is without a doubt the greatest rivalry in baseball. This rivalry had been well-established before both teams moved to the West Coast. However, it has become bigger now than it was then.

At the present time, the Dodgers are the team with the best talent, and with a larger fan base. They pay their players much more than the Giants do, and they have a more talented roster. However, in my opinion the Giants are much better managed organization. They do not spend as much money as the other teams, but they consistently compete for the championship.

They are managed by Bruce Bouchy, who most people consider it be the best of the baseball managers. He seems to provide his teams with the right amount of motivation and discipline, and he gets the best performance out of most of them, again, they do not always have the best players, but they always had the toughest.

The Dodgers, on the other hand have a bloated payroll and a bunch of malcontents. The person who could be their best player, Matt Kemp, signed a huge guaranteed contract, and has generally underperformed since that time. He did suffer from some injuries, but even when he was healthy, did not appear that he was motivated enough to play as well as he could.
