Obama Needs to Understand . . .

. . . That Americans Who Hate Him See Him as 'Just Another N---er

Black news from Pasadena - Editorial - How those who hate Obama see himA white pastor of a church in Arizona has prayed for the death of President Obama. White Republicans say the President is not an American. Some white Republicans have vowed to stop anything that president puts forward. Some white folks say they will never allow their children to hear a speech by President Obama. Many whites say President Obama is not their President.

They carry guns to rallies where he goes to speak; they call him a Nazi, a Communist, and a Socialist. We all know what they really want to call him. Their actions speak volumes about their racist attitudes and their rejection of the fact that a Black man is President of the most powerful nation in the world.

In the midst of all of this President Obama seems to still be trying to promote bi-partisanship in passing his health program. Does President Obama have an identity crisis? Has he read the Bilbo theory that one drop of Black blood makes you a N---er?

Once you are that, they have no respect for you or the office you hold. There are many whites (racists) who still believe in the theory of the Dred Scott judicial decision that says, in effect, that there is no right or privilege that a Black man has that a White man is bound to respect.

Dear Mr. President, you owe it to America to not bow down to the racists of today and deny rights to the rest of Americans who ignored your color and voted for you. Many of these votes were by Whites who left the past behind, voted based on your merit and promises to make a change to better America.

What I think you need to do is pay a visit to your former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, for a reality lesson in the history of America. Jeremiah Wright, who the right wing conservatives said hated America, called Obama one of the most principled and idealistic individuals in public service. Wright said Obama was a dreamer and a man of faith. In a March 11, 2007 letter to the New York Times, Wright, asked forgiveness for his momentary lapse in allowing himself to be interviewed by the New York Times writer, Jodi Kantor.

Dr. Wright went on to say that he had forgotten that the New York Times was a leader in promoting George Bush’s illegal war in Iraq. He lamented that he had forgotten that the New York Times played a role in the outing of Valerie Plame, a CIA operative. These are the same type people that Barack Obama is trusting to agree with him and come up with a bi-partisan health care plan. Hello Mr. President! These people only want to see you fail, or die.cartoon

As a Black Man in America over sixty years old, I know the truth that Jeremiah Wright speaks. Now the world is watching how conservative Americans refuse to accept a Black President. Black America has suffered through forty three white privileged male presidents. White conservatives, with all of their talk of meritocracy, and talk of Blacks being on welfare and a race of beggars.

President Barack, please wake up and keep fighting for those of us who elected you to change America!
