Pasadena Police Activity and Students at Jefferson

Students at Jefferson Were Being Released at Front of School to Parents and Guardians Only

On March 14, 2013, an active police investigation in the area between Madison Elementary and Jefferson Elementary was ongoing. There was no change to normal dismissal process at Madison, however student dismissal at Jefferson Elementary school was to parents and guardians only.

Parents were instructed to pick up students at the front of the school on Villa. Concerned Jefferson parents were also instructed to call the school at (626) 396-5710.

LEARNs afterschool programs were cancelled at Jefferson Elementary.

Pasadena police advised motorists to avoid area between Orange Grove, Maple, Lake, and Hill if possible.
