Join a special screening of the documentary, "Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North" (2008), the story of the largest slave-trading family in U.S. History on beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, at La Pintoresca Branch Library, 1355 N. Raymond Avenue.
The film was created by filmmaker Katrina Browne who discovered that her New England ancestors were the largest slave-trading family in U.S. history. She and nine cousins retrace the Triangle Trade and gain powerful new perspectives on the black/white divide.
