Mothers' Club Family Learning Center and the Junior League of Pasadena welcome State Assemblymember Anthony Portantino (D-La Canada Flintridge) as a volunteer guest reader at the organization's Early Readers' Book Club on Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m.

The Early Readers' Book Club, held one Saturday morning each month, is a unique program designed to inspire a love of reading in preschool children and strengthen the literacy skills of English-learning mothers.

The program helps Mothers' Club parents become more comfortable with listening to and reading aloud in English. Each family takes home a copy of the month's book selection and an accompanying read-along CD.
