Films at CAAM: “Standing On My Sister’s Shoulders”

Films at the California African American Museum (CAAM) presents “Standing On My Sister’s Shoulders” (2002- running time:  60 minutes) directed and written by Laura Lipson and produced by Joan Sadoff.  

This film takes on the Civil Rights movement in Mississippi in the 50s and 60s from the perspective of the women who lived it and emerged as its grassroots leaders. 

This event is free and open to the public at 600 State Drive, Exposition Park, Los Angeles, 90037.
