On Wednesday, August 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Melissa Lowry, author, teacher and former K-8 principal, will be on hand to discuss developmental ages and stages for children, birth through age six.
She will highlight what appropriate expectations are for each age group and discuss why children do what they do during each developmental stage; the good, the bad and the annoying! Melissa will also teach parents how to use their family room and everyday experiences as a powerful classroom for their child.
Parents will leave the workshop feeling at ease about their child’s development, armed with a better understanding of what makes their little one tick, and equipped with strategies to enhance every stage of development.
The workshop fee is $20 per adult.
Registration is available on-line at kidspacemuseum.org. These workshops are only for parents and caregivers.
