Professional storytellers and musicians will present hour long shows for children 6 and older at Pasadena’s Central Library followed by a repeat afternoon show at branch libraries Thursdays throughout July.
Barbara Wong will share magical tales from China & Hawaii about dragons, sharks, magic pots and mysterious paintings on Thursday, July 14 at 10 a.m. at Central Library in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium, 285 E. Walnut Street and 1:30 p.m. at Allendale Branch Library, 1130 S. Marengo Avenue.
Musician and bluesman Brother Yusef will introduce children to the blues through singing, movement, and audience participation on Thursday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at Central Library in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium and 3 p.m. at Villa Parke Branch Library, 363 E. Villa Street.
Juggler, magician, and storyteller Jeff the Great will present crazy tales and wacky fun on Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m. at Central Library in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium and 2 p.m. at Hastings Branch Library, 3325 E. Orange Grove Boulevard.
Storyteller Yvette Brandy will share tales from around the world on Thursday, August 4 at 10 a.m. at Central Library in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium and 1:30 p.m. at San Rafael Branch Library, 1240 Nithsdale Road.
