Got kids? Let them play, advises the City of Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department, which offers supervised activities for kids this summer.
The Summer Park program is a social experience that lets children choose what they like. The goal is to provide safe and healthy recreation activities in the parks.
Supervised recreation is available to children ages 5 to 14 years old from 1 to 5 p.m. June 28 through July 30, and includes swimming, art and crafts, organized and spontaneous games, sports, dance, recreational fitness, walking field trips and more.
Programs are located at Brenner, Eaton Blanche, Grant, Hamilton, Madison School and McDonald parks.
Enrollment fees per summer site are $25 per child. Enrollment is limited.
Registration is now available at www.cityofpasadena.net/reserve. Parents can also register at Jackie Robinson Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Avenue, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
