LA Opera: Lucia di Lammermoor – Monday, February 24, at 1 p.m.
An LA Opera community educator will discuss this Donizetti opera about family honor, betrayal and madness – a tour de force of Italian opera. Lucia's chilling, blood-spattered reappearance at the wedding reception is one of the most iconic scenes in all of opera.
