Macy's on South Lake, the Fair Oaks Court housing development and the restored front steps of the Civic Auditorium shared honors last year with nine other properties in receiving a Pasadena Historic Preservation award.

Award winners will exemplify the best in preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of historic properties in Pasadena.

The awards will be presented by the Pasadena Historic Preservation Commission, which serves as an advisory body to the Pasadena City Council, proactively seeking to raise awareness of preservation as a desired land use option through development review and nomination of individual landmarks and landmark districts.
