The Guidelines to Your New Years Resolution and How it Can Help Your Life
New Years is a time for reflecting on the things you did, or did not do, during the year. Everyone makes a New Year's resolution, that more often than not people give up on or forget about (and I'll be honest I have been that person). Some very common resolutions either involve going on a diet/start working out, starting something you have been putting off and neglected to start, or begin something you started, but never finished.
Setting a solid and meaningful resolution and staying committed to it can be the difference between you feeling like you have failed or feeling motivated to set more goals for yourself. Achieving your resolution is such a great feeling that it will encourage you to continue to reach new heights in your life. But the most important thing about setting a New Years resolution is making it practical and feasible. For example, the first time you get hiking boots you don't plan to hike Mt. Everest that same day! It's important to be real with yourself.
After choosing your resolution(s), map out what I like to call the "Steps to a Higher Consciousness", but in this case it's the Steps to Success. Realize that it's going to take patience, dedication, and discipline. Draw out your Steps to Success (which can be small steps), and stay committed to your cause.
Have a wonderful and safe New Year!
