Rosemary Children's Services Raises $12,000 at First Annual 'Tee Off For Teens' Golf Tournament

African American news from Pasadena - Community - Annual "Tee Off For Teens" golf tournamentPasadena, CA - On October 4, 2012, Rosemary Children's Services held its Inaugural "Tee-Off for Teens" Golf Tournament in partnership with San Gabriel Children's Center. Over 100 golfers were in attendance and enjoyed a day of interactive golfing, which was held at Sierra La Verne Country Club in La Verne. Golfers where pampered with massages given by Equinox in preparation for their attempts to secure a trophy and win the closest to the pin and longest drive contests.

"We are delighted with the attendance numbers and money raised from our first ever Golf Tournament. Funds from the tournament will benefit those we serve", said Greg Wessels, Executive Director for Rosemary Children's Services.

Winners of the Golf Tournament were Temple City Dental Group led by Dr. Jack Von Bulow (first place); Vince's Auto's led by Anthony Melillo (second place) and Rosemary's foursome led by Rosemary's own Shawn Rosten (third place). All winners received trophies to commemorate their victory.
