Movies you should consider going to see:
- Sparkle - THUMBS UP
- Diary of a Wimpy Kid - THUMBS UP
- The Odd Life of Timothy Green
- The Perks of Being a Wallflower - September 21st (already looks like a THUMBS UP. Teens and young adults.)
- Hotel Transylvania - September 28th
- Finding Nemo 3D - September 14th
- The Dark Knight Rises - May have been released in July, but in my opinion, it was by far THE best movie of the summer.
- Beasts of the Southern Wild - Only in select theaters. It was another fantastic film released in July that the whole family, grandma and grandpa included, should see. It's a must see!
Local Events
- La Pintoresca Library will host two SAT sessions at the end of the month. They will administer a practice test on September 29th at 12:30 - 5 p.m. On October 4th at 5 - 6:45 p.m they will return the test scores and provide helpful tips on how to raise them. Spaces are limited so call 744-7268 to register!
