WHY: 3M is a global leader in the new generation of Cloud Technology for public libraries. The 3M system provides libraries with a comprehensive subscription-based program including eBook titles, software and hardware to help increase library use by people who prefer to use eBook readers. HOW: The 3M Cloud Library system currently includes more than 200,000 titles from more than 75 publishers. By using touch-based interface terminals, Pasadena Public Library users will be able to browse and download through about 1,100 titles, from authors such as John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, and Ann Patchet and works such as Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Swamplandia, and Game of Thrones.

Pasadena and Glendale are the first—and currently only—public libraries in the entire State of California to now offer the new 3M Cloud Library system.  Join us as we go "Into the Cloud."
