My son, Brian Nelson Williams, knew since he was five years old what he wanted to be when he grew up. He was three years old when I gave him a plane. He was mesmerized with the plane. When he was four years old, Brian told me that he was going to be a pilot. When he was five years old, he said that he was going to be a fighter pilot; and he couldn't wait to learn to read well, so he could read everything about airplanes. Since that day, he was never without an airplane book, no matter where he went. At eight years old, he was watching a documentary on television about the U.S. Naval Academy. When it was over, he ran through the house and yelled, "Mom, I know where I want to go to college... to the U.S. Naval Academy so I can land on the aircraft carrier."
At 15 years old, Brian asked his daddy and me if he could take flying lessons. With God's gifts, Brian soloed at 16 and received his pilot's license at 17 years old.
Now, Brian is graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy as an officer, and he has received his service assignment in aviation to be a pilot.
(Psalm 37:3-4) "Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness."
"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."
