Stay ‘God’ Focused, Not ‘Me’ Focused!

PastorGlovioellRowland.jpg.w180h220"He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:30)

Successful people are right on track.

There's a tendency to pat themselves on the back.

The Bible says, "Don't do that!"

"To God be the glory!" That's where it's at!

"Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." (Psalm 115:1)

No matter how well you do; humbling yourself under the mighty hand of God is what's true.

After all, it is God who created you.

You're valuable in his sight, and he loves you through and through!

Be thankful and give him the applause!

You can be mighty, in Christ, wherever you trod!

Be determined to serve him with all of your might.

He calls us to die daily; living as Christians in his sight!

But for Jesus, our Saviour, this sacrifice is our delight!

"Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." (Psalm 37:4)

Dear Pastor Glovioell,

I hope you can feel me!

I got a lot of people pumping me up. "Oh, you can preach!" "Oh, you are such a prayer warrior!" I know it is only by the grace of God that I have the gift to preach, and the ability to pray with faith. Like the Book of James says:
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17 NIV)

I tell them immediately. "To God be the Glory for however he uses me!"

Beat them to the punch

Dear Beat Them to the Punch,

I'm so glad you ‘Beat them to the punch!' Yes! Praise God and be thankful a bunch!

God is awesome, and you tell them right up front!

I see you Glorify God with all your heart; and that's not a stunt!
