“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm1:1-3)
While walking 3 ½ miles around the Rose Bowl the other day,
I saw a TV commercial being filmed at 6:45 am, and said, “Hey!”
The backdrop of the billboard was huge, and made quite a scene!
It read, ‘Built FORD Tough!’ and I said, “Is that what it seems?!”
How can an auto company scream, that their engineered product is so bad and mean?
I thought to myself--I’m built tough!
Through Christ, I’m big and buff!
God gives me strength! All troublers he enables me to rebuff!
I’m not made to faint!
“But they that wait, upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faith.” (Isaiah 40:31)
I’m a Soldier! That’s what I am!
Out to conquer, by God’s power, that’s what’s planned!
“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 2:3)
Have you run into problems in this life?
Use the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God), and go fight!
We’re BUILT ‘GOD’ TOUGH, and it’s a marvelous sight!
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me!” (Philippians 4:13)
Dear Pastor Glovioell,
I know I have power in Christ. Sometimes I feel like a real whimp.
When things go wrong, I forget the power I have.
A car ran a Stop Sign and I stomped hard on the brakes. I did not go through the windshield and the car did not hit me. I ached so bad. I took an X-ray and it showed a shoulder strain. I started to get depressed, then I prayed!
Then I remembered. My healing is in Christ. I began to speak words of faith and power. Now, the pain is gone. First, I know—angels prevented me from getting hit. Second, I know—words of faith and taking care of myself, brought my health back again.
God is faithful!
He’s merciful! He’s faithful to us, even when we’re not faithful to him!
We suddenly remember who we are in Christ, and renewed faith begins!
We serve a Mighty God, and we’ve been Redeemed.
Christians, above all, should shout and beam!
Stay full of Praise in Christ, because we’ve been saved by Jesus our King!
