Linda Y. Johnson, Fraud Litigation Specialist with California Casualty Management Co. (CCMC) was flown to San Francisco/San Mateo on to receive the distinguished Carl G. Brown, Jr. Award of Excellence on Thursday, March 5, 2009.
The Carl G. Brown, Jr. Award is based on the example set by Mr. Brown, who in over 40 years of service tirelessly dedicated his time and talent to the company and our community. Ms. Johnson was honored with the award for her tireless work with various religious and non-religious organizations nationwide that aid the plights of women. The award also recognized her work of excellence as a Special Investigation Specialist at CCMC's Glendale, CA branch. CCMC will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2013 and Linda is the First African American and only the second recipient from company's claims department to have been honored with this prestigious award. Linda also celebrated her 25th anniversary with CCMC in 2008.
Working in Claims throughout her career, Linda has used her deep knowledge and understanding of Department of Insurance requirements, the law and our policies in handling each of her claims files. Her community involvement, her lifelong support of education and her work with the homeless and emergency publish services all demonstrate her commitment to making a difference at home, at work, and in society.
Linda is a member of FAME Pasadena and resides in Altadena with her husband, Lonzie.
