With the tag line “Honoring Those Who have Paved the Way” the honors dinner provides the opportunity to honor and say thank-you to those individuals and groups who go over and beyond, often unnoticed.
“The Dinner has allowed us to remind the community of the unsung Heros and Heroines who may have been forgotten, introduce and recognize history makers and to say thank-you and encourage everyone to continue the wonderful job they are doing,” said Jarvis Emerson, Community Services Supervisor, Jackie Robinson Center, Black History Coordinator.
