On August 4, 2018, the 19th annual “41st Assembly District Block Party & Resource Fair,” took place on Jackson Street in Northwest Pasadena. This event organized by ASM. Holden (D-Pasadena) featured families, fun, and many of the community and State service providers.
Some included: The Foothill Unity Center, which provided free refreshments, chips, and hot dogs. Personalized safety equipment gifts were handed out by Pasadena Police Department officers.
There was a puppet show, Nintendo gaming truck, and bounce house as entertainment for the young kids at the event. ASM. Holden’s son, Austin Holden says he remembers coming to the very first gatherings when he was a small child and still enjoys the neighborly vibe and looks forward to finding tasty treats.
Another one of the highlights for the youth was the free back to school supplies given out by volunteers. For adults there were classic cars on display. To learn more about Northwest Pasadena services, northwest2@ cityofpasadena.net.
